I came home from school one day and told my mother that the alphabet was unfair because I was always,
Last on a list,
Last to be called,
Last in line.
She told me to remember,
“They Save the Best for Last”.
Only a mother could fix a problem like that!
I’ve owned my place in the alphabet ever since then.
